The City of Spring Park provides numerous recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. These offerings include Thor Thompson Park, Wilkes Park, the Dakota Rail Regional Trail, a shore fishing platform at the corner of Sunset Drive and Shadywood Road, the Sunset Drive private lake access, and the Spring Park Bay Hennepin County boat launch.
