Election Information
The 2024 election season is in full swing, and the Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission has all the local races covered. Be sure to click the link below "Election 2024" and tune into LMCC Channel 12 and the LMCC website for "Meet Your Candidates", beginning on October 7th.
State Primary
- June 28: Absentee voting begins for State Primary
- July 23: Primary deadline to pre-register to vote
- August 10, 2024: Open for absentee voting 9: 00a.m - 3:00p.m.
- August 12: In-person absentee voting closes at 5 p.m.
- August 13: Primary Election Day (polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
State General Election
- September 20: Absentee voting begins for the general election.
- October 1: Health Care Facility Voting Begins
- October 15: Last day to pre-register to vote.
- October 18: Direct balloting period begins.
- October 26: Open for absentee voting 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
- October 29: Extended Voting Hours, open until 7 p.m.
- November 2: Open for absentee voting 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
- November 3: Open for extended absentee voting 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
- November 4: In-person absentee voting closes at 5 p.m.
- November 5: General Election Day (polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
On election day, all eligible voters who reside in Spring Park may vote between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Spring Park City Hall, 4349 Warren Avenue, Spring Park, MN 55384. See links below for additional details.
