The City of Spring Park provides numerous recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. These offerings include Thor Thompson Park, Wilkes Park, the Dakota Rail Regional Trail, a shore fishing platform at the corner of Sunset Drive and Shadywood Road, and the Spring Park Bay Hennepin County boat launch. Additionally, the city contracts with other neighboring cities to make the Gillespie Center in Mound available for all Spring Park residents.
